Recently retired Judge Lawrence Jones, during his seven years on the Ocean County Superior Court bench, wrote 62 opinions, endeavoring to fill gaps in case law or interpret existing family law. Roughly one-third of those opinions were issued in 2016. Jones has been a prolific writer away from the bench, too: He authored guidelines for family court judges, and has contributed articles to several legal publications.

Distinguished Leaders in many cases have praiseworthy careers, but most importantly they continue to be leaders in the profession. What are some of your proudest recent achievements?
