A man who sustained numerous broken bones after he allegedly was run off the road was paid a $1.2 million settlement in his Burlington County suit, Kelly v. Lembeck, on June 9.
In January 2015, Dan Kelly was driving on New Road in Southampton, an access road to a residential development, when another motorist pulled out from a driveway onto the road, in front of Kelly, said his lawyer, John Borbi of Borbi, Clancy & Patrizi in Marlton.
Kelly swerved to avoid the other vehicle, left the road and struck a tree head-on, while the other motorist, Michael Lembeck, drove away unaware of the accident, Borbi said.
