Florham Park-based civil defense litigation firm McGivney & Kluger has elevated its partner Kerryann Cook to the masthead, and the name of the firm has become McGivney, Kluger & Cook, P.C. Cook has been with the firm for 12 years and is the managing attorney for the firm’s New York City-based mass-tort and class-action litigation involving asbestos. In addition to those duties, she is also responsible for substantial national accounts and will now take a more active role in crafting strategy, negotiation and assisting in the managing of the firm’s national asbestos litigation practice.

New Counsel Joins McManimon Scotland

Frances Ciesla McManimon joins McManimon, Scotland & Baumann in Roseland as counsel, focusing on public finance and redevelopment. She has served as bond counsel, underwriter’s counsel and trustee’s counsel for public finance transactions undertaken by county and municipal government entities. McManimon has experience representing public entities in negotiated and competitive bond and note sales, conduit financings, and current and advance refundings.
