New Jersey State Bar Association President Robert Hille has appointed Anthony Carlino chairman of the association’s Judicial and Prosecutorial Appointments Committee (JPAC). Carlino is a partner with McElroy, Deutsch, Mulvaney & Carpenter and manages the firm’s Ridgewood office. He is a past-president of the Bergen County Bar Association, and has served on JPAC for the past three years as the Bergen County representative. He has also served for the past five years as the Bergen County representative on the NJSBA’s Board of Trustees.
Riker Danzig’s Samuel Moulthrop Elected to American Bar Foundation
Riker Danzig Scherer Hyland & Perretti announced that Samuel Moulthrop, head of the firm’s white collar criminal defense group and partner in the firm’s environmental litigation group in Moristown, has been elected to the American Bar Foundation, an honorary organization of attorneys, judges, law faculty and legal scholars whose public and private careers have demonstrated outstanding dedication to the welfare of their communities and to the highest principles of the legal profession. Moulthrop assists clients with government enforcement and compliance issues involving potential criminal charges. He also regularly manages complex federal and state court litigation on behalf of corporations, and their officers and directors. Before joining the firm, Moulthrop served in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of New Jersey. In that office, he served as assistant U.S. attorney, chief of the Criminal Division, chief of the Appeals Division, deputy chief of the Fraud and Public Protection Division, and chief of the Environmental Section.
