A woman involved in a rear-end accident settled her claims for injury and economic loss in Middlesex County for $1.4 million on May 26 in Hoyt v. Milad.
Catherine Hoyt, 37, of Sayreville, was in an auto accident on Oct.1, 2011. Hoyt's car was rear-ended by Amgad Milad's car; at the time, Milad was delivering pizzas for a local Domino's franchise owned by Brunswick Pizza, according to her attorney, James Maggs of Maggs & McDermott in Brielle.
Hoyt claimed she sustained serious injuries in the accident which have left her disabled.
