As movement in the New Jersey Attorney General's Office continues, Kevin Jespersen, the chief assistant to Attorney General Christopher Porrino, has been appointed as chief executive assistant attorney general.

Jespersen fills the post vacated by Deborah Jacobs, who retired Thursday.

Jespersen joined the office in 2004 as a deputy attorney general assigned to the Division of Law's Professional Boards Prosecution Section, and became the assistant section chief in 2006, according to a statement.
