Catalina Joins Hill Wallack As Partner
Hill Wallack welcomed Richard A. Catalina Jr. as a partner in the firm's Princeton office. Catalina is the partner in charge of the firm's intellectual property practice and a member of the life sciences practice. He is a registered patent attorney and Certified Licensing Professional. He joins Hill Wallack from Wilentz Goldman & Spitzer in Woodbridge. Catalina regularly advises clients in intellectual property and patent-based matters, including procurement, protection, enforcement and monetization. He also regularly represents clients in trademark prosecution proceedings, as well as inter partes and ex parte matters before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Catalina is admitted to practice in New Jersey, the U.S. District Court for District of New Jersey and the USPTO. He earned his J.D. from Syracuse University College of Law. He received his B.S. in biology and chemistry from Trenton State College (now The College of New Jersey).
Sills Cummis & Gross Welcomes Debbie Kramer Gregg
Sills Cummis & Gross in Newark brought on Debbie Kramer Gregg as of counsel. Gregg joins the real estate department after serving as general counsel for multi-state real estate developers for 25 years. She has experience in all aspects of development, including due diligence regarding approvals, environmental and title issues, acquisition of existing and undeveloped projects, securing entitlements, and financing. Gregg received her J.D., cum laude and Order of Coif, from the University of Michigan Law School and her B.A. from Pennsylvania State University. She is admitted to practice is New Jersey.
Javerbaum Wurgaft Adds Associate Thapar
Javerbaum Wurgaft Hicks Kahn Wikstrom & Sinins has brought on Sarabraj S. Thapar as an associate in the Jersey City office. Thapar is an accomplished trial attorney and has extensive experience handling personal injury and insurance matters. He received the Bravo Award from Liberty Mutual for his outstanding trial work in 2015 and 2016. Thapar graduated with honors from Rutgers University, New Brunswick. He received his law degree from The Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University and interned for Judge Donald Venezia. He is a member of the New Jersey Bar Association, Essex County Bar Association, Young Lawyers Division-Essex County, and Sikh American Chamber of Commerce. Thapar is a former assistant wrestling coach at West Orange High School, where he has been coaching mock trials since 2012. He is fluent in Hindi.

Michael A. Clore join as an associate in the litigation practice group in Bridgewater. Clore spent three years with the Office of the Insurance Fraud Prosecutor. As a deputy attorney general, Clore worked closely with public and private insurance carriers and financial institutions in the investigation and prosecution of crimes of fraud and theft throughout the state. In recognition of his outstanding performance, Clore received the 2015 Prosecutor's Award. Clore earned his J.D. in 2013 from Georgetown University Law Center, where he was senior editor of the Georgetown International Environmental Law Review, and his B.A., cum laude, from Syracuse University. Clore clerked for Middlesex County Superior Court Judge Dennis V. Nieves and for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Office of Enforcement and Compliance Assurance in Washington, D.C.

Catherine L. Corey joins as an associate. She joins the firm's bankruptcy and creditors' rights practice group, focusing her practice on bankruptcy and creditors' rights, mortgage foreclosure, loss mitigation, and related litigation matters. Corey earned her B.A. from Grand Valley State University in 2007 and her J.D. from New York Law School in 2010. She also earned her LL.M. from St. John's University School of Law in 2011, where she was honored with the CALI Award for the highest grade in Bankruptcy Accounting and Supreme Court Amicus Brief and a Dean's Merit Scholarship, for her outstanding performance.
Lee Joins Wong Fleming in Princeton
Linda M. Lee
Linda M. Lee has joined Wong Fleming as an associate in the Princeton office. She earned a B.A. degree from Ramapo College in 2009 and her J.D. from Rutgers Law School in 2015. She is admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York. Lee concentrates her practice in commercial litigation and trial, insurance defense and coverage. Prior to joining Wong Fleming, she worked for firms that represented clients in transportation, railroad, construction, assisted living, and insurance industries.
Associate Paone Joins Paone, Zaleski & Murray
Victoria E. Paone has joined Paone, Zaleski & Murray—with offices in Red Bank and Woodbridge—as an associate attorney. She earned her B.A. from Muhlenberg College, where she graduated with honors. She earned her J.D. from Widener Delaware Law School, where she graduated magna cum laude and also served as an articles editor of the Law Review. After graduating law school, Paone served as law clerk to Monmouth County Superior Court Judge Mara Zazzali-Hogan, in the family and civil courts. Her practice with the firm will focus on family law, divorce and domestic violence.
Goldberg Segalla Adds Associate Chang
Goldberg Segalla added associate Elizabeth A. Chang to the firm's general liability practice group in Princeton. Chang was previously with Marshall, Dennehey, Warner, Coleman & Goggin in Roseland. She focuses on employment and labor, professional liability, and casualty matters. She worked as an employment practices liability claims specialist at a major insurer, where she focused on employment discrimination claims, and advised corporate and public entities on claims liability, coverage, mediation strategy, and settlement negotiations. She was an extern with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, where she prepared legal memoranda for claims under the ADA, ADEA, and Title VII. Chang earned her bachelor's degree at the University of Michigan and law degree at Rutgers Law School. She was a law clerk for Superior Court Judge Lisa F. Chrystal and became a Certified Mediator.

The case, filed Oct. 2 in Massachusetts District Court by the Brown Law Firm on behalf of Stephen Austen, accuses certain officers and directors of misleading investors in regard to Symbotic's potential for margin growth by failing to disclose that the company was not equipped to timely deploy its systems or manage expenses through project delays. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Nathaniel M. Gorton, is 1:24-cv-12522, Austen v. Cohen et al.

The complaint was filed Sept. 4 in Connecticut District Court by attorney Robert M. Berke on behalf of former employee George Edward Steins, who was arrested and charged with employing an unregistered home improvement salesperson. The complaint alleges that had Sunrun informed the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection that the plaintiff's employment had ended in 2017 and that he no longer held Sunrun's home improvement contractor license, he would not have been hit with charges, which were dismissed in May 2024. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Jeffrey A. Meyer, is 3:24-cv-01423, Steins v. Sunrun, Inc. et al.
