Goldberg Segalla Welcomes Two in New Jersey

Goldberg Segalla has added to the workers' compensation practice group partner Mario M. Marchini  in Newark and associate Noah L. Dennison in Princeton. Marchini was previously with Pizzo & Haman in New York City. Dennison was previously with Buckley Theroux Kline & Petraske in Princeton.

Marchini's previous experience includes serving as supervising attorney and litigation manager in charge of all New York operations for a prominent national insurer specializing in workers' compensation, responsible for handling board hearings, reviewing appeals, denying claims, and serving as settlement manager on all Section 32 resolutions. Before entering private practice, Marchini served as assistant corporation counsel defending workers' compensation claims brought against the city of New York. He also draws on experience and knowledge of the Federal Employees Compensation Act (FECA) from his time as examining attorney with the U.S. Department of Labor Office of Workers' Compensation Programs. Marchini earned his bachelor's at the City University of New York College of Staten Island. At Temple University School of Law he earned the school's “Outstanding Oral Advocate Award” and completed the Integrated Trial Advocacy Program. Fluent in Italian, Marchini is a member of National Italian American Bar Association and the Italy-America Chamber of Commerce.

Dennison handles all aspects of pretrial discovery, including written discovery, expert retention, and fact and expert deposition. He is also experienced in developing litigation strategy, and in drafting and arguing both discovery and dispositive motions. Equipped with previous experience handling complicated medical malpractice and dental malpractice litigation, Dennison possesses an understanding of medical and scientific concepts and insight into the practice of contemporary medicine. Dennison graduated magna cum laude from Rampao College of New Jersey and Rutgers Law School-Camden, where he was an articles editor for the Rutgers Law Journal and served on the Hunter Moot Court Board. He also served as law clerk for New Jersey Superior Court Judge Richard J. Geiger.

Traflet & Fabian in Morristown brings on board new associate Isabelle A. Fabian to the firm. Fabian attended Seton Hall University School of Law, where she was on the Law Review, and graduated at the top of her class, magna cum laude and Order of the Coif. She interned with U.S. Magistrate Judge Douglas Arpert of the District of New Jersey and New Jersey Supreme Court Justice Anne M. Patterson. After graduation, Fabian clerked for New Jersey Appellate Division Judge Marianne Espinosa. Prior to joining Traflet & Fabian, Fabian was an associate with Drinker Biddle & Reath in Florham Park. She is admitted in New Jersey and New York.

Yian Pan has joined the firm as an associate (pending admission to the New York bar). She received her J.D. from Rutgers Law School, where she graduated cum laude and was senior articles editor of the Rutgers University Law Review. She concentrates her practice in commercial and trial, insurance defense and coverage litigation. Prior to joining Wong Fleming, Pan worked as a legal intern for a major news organization, researching and analyzing bankruptcy courts and executory contracts in the oil and gas industry.

Theodore Y. Choi has also joined the firm as an associate. Choi earned a B.A. from Drexel University, Philadelphia in 2005. He received his J.D. from Widener University School of Law in 2009, and is admitted to practice law in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Choi concentrates his practice on creditors' rights and commercial litigation, employment and labor litigation and arbitration, products liability and mass tort litigation and trial, insurance defense and coverage litigation. Prior to joining Wong Fleming, Choi's practice included commercial, consumer fraud and labor and employment litigation.
