Braff Harris Promotes Three to Partner

Braff Harris Sukoneck & Maloof in Livingston promoted three attorneys to partner: Adam J. Kipnis, Michael S. Goldenberg and Brian A. Maloof, the firm's insurance defense practice.

Kipnis focuses on personal injury, professional malpractice, and toxic tort litigation. An experienced trial attorney, Kipnis has defended cases in state courts throughout the country and at the appellate level in both state and federal courts. He is a former ethics investigator in District IV-A (Newark) and a former public defender in Bergenfield. He was law clerk to New Jersey Superior Court Judge Robert E. Hamer. He earned his B.A. at Penn State University (1996) and his J.D. at Hofstra University School of Law (1999). Kipnis is admitted to state and federal courts in New Jersey, New York and Maryland, the Pennsylvania State Bar.

Goldenberg has extensive experience in complex civil litigation and civil defense litigation. He represents clients in New Jersey and New York. Prior to joining the firm, Goldenberg served in the chambers of U.S. District Judge for the District of New Jersey Dennis M. Cavanaugh. In 2011, Goldenberg returned to the District of New Jersey to serve as a law clerk to U.S. Magistrate Judge Mark Falk. He received his B.A., cum laude, from the University of Rhode Island (2006) and his J.D., cum laude, from Pace University School of Law (2009). He is admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York.

Brian A. Maloof has been an attorney since 2000. He joined the firm in 2014. A litigator, he has tried cases in most New Jersey counties. In addition to appearing before the court, he lectures to insurance clients on contractual indemnification and additional insured coverage. He earned his B.A. at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor (1997), and and his J.D. from University of Miami School of Law (2000). He is admitted to practice in Florida and New Jersey. He is a member of the American and New Jersey State Bar Associations.

Landman Corsi Promotes Mondora to Partner

Landman Corsi Ballaine & Ford, a civil litigation firm in Newark, has promoted Charles Mondora to partner. Mondora's practice focuses on the defense of transportation, professional liability and general litigation matters in the state and federal courts of New Jersey, New York, and Connecticut, where he has obtained no-cause decisions at arbitration, summary judgment dismissals of cases with six- and seven-figure demands, and sanctions for frivolous lawsuits. A member of the firm's cyber liability team, Mondora began his career as a law clerk in the New Jersey Superior Court.

Greenbaum Rowe Welcomes Two Litigation Associates, Promotes Wilkes to Partner

Charles J. Wilkes was named a partner at Greenbaum, Rowe, Smith & Davis, effective Jan. 1, 2018. He concentrates on commercial real estate and financing transactions. His work encompasses the acquisition, disposition, financing and leasing of commercial real estate and major redevelopment projects. He is based in the firm's Woodbridge office, where he is a member of the real estate and redevelopment and land use departments, and the banking, business financing and creditors' rights practice group. He was previously an associate at the firm, and is admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York.

The firm also recently welcomed two new associates to the Woodbridge office.

Punam P. Alam focuses on litigation, with a concentration in employment law. She also assists in the handling of matters involving claims of public entity liability. Prior to joining the firm, Alam was a deputy attorney general in the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General, Division of Law. She is admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York.

Charles J. Vaccaro concentrates on commercial litigation. His experience encompasses various areas of civil litigation at the state and federal level, including contract and business disputes, employment law, insurance coverage, consumer fraud, real estate and personal injury matters. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York.

Ansell Grimm Adds Associate Milliaressis

Ansell Grimm & Aaron brings on board Andreas Milliaressis as an associate. His practice consists of bankruptcy law, creditors' rights and commercial litigation. He previously clerked for U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Michael B. Kaplan of the District of New Jersey. Milliaressis graduated from Rutgers Law School in 2015 after completing the six-year B.A./J.D. program. He was the recipient of the Dean's Academic Excellence Scholarship and a member of the Bankruptcy Pro Bono Project. While in law school, he interned for U.S. Magistrate Judge Tonianne J. Bongiovanni of the District of New Jersey, and Camden County Superior Court Judge Deborah Silverman Katz.
