New Jersey Law Journal Professional Excellence

The deadline for the Law Journal's Professional Excellence submissions is March 22, including the category that yields some of the most compelling submissions each time we do it: Litigation Departments of the Year.

Law firms, tell us why your litigation groups excelled in 2017. Excellence comes in many forms, not just by headline-grabbing results for major corporate clients. Excellence means significant work on behalf of clients of all types and sizes. Excellence means heard-fought battles won, through effort and innovation. Excellence means pushing the law forward. (Download form here).

Please note: While our traditional individual recognitions remain open to firms of all sizes (Attorney of the Year, Lifetime Achievement, New Leaders of the Bar), Litigation Departments of the Year and other recognitions now target midsize and smaller firms (those with up to 200 lawyers total, firmwide).

Submission in one or multiple categories is welcome. Categories are: General, Class Action, Insurance, Labor & Employment, Product Liability, and Intellectual Property. (Download form here).

Again, this category is open to law firms with up to 200 attorneys, firmwide.

How to Submit

All nominations will remain anonymous. Submissions may be sent, with the relevant form, to [email protected] with “NJLJ” and the candidate's name, and the relevant category in the email subject line (e.g. NJLJ—Jane Doe—LITIGATION DEPARTMENTS OF THE YEAR).

ALL SUBMISSIONS MUST BE RECEIVED BY THURSDAY, MARCH 22, 2018.

If you have questions, please contact Recognition Events Desk Manager, Pearl Wu, at [email protected] or 212-457-9646.

Winners for the various recognitions will be announced shortly after the deadline, leading up to publication of our awards magazines and our Professional Excellence event, slated for June. Details will follow as the time draws nearer.

We look forward to hearing from you.
