Editor's Note Each year the Law Journal, with the indipsensible help of law firms and their staff, takes stock of the partner ranks in the state—those newly made and those brought to new environs as lateral hires. Contained here are brief profiles—or yearbook entries, I suppose we could say—about 117 such partners from a wide array of firms doing business in the state, and from a variety of practices. To new partners, their inclusion here might be especially satisfying. Some attorneys rise to partnership fairly quickly. For others, it can take some time. We know the achievement is momentous for all, no matter their circumstances. Being a member of the bar puts one in an exclusive club to begin with, and ascending to partner takes that accomplishment to another level. To lateral partners, we realize that practitioners are usually, by nature, devoted and loyal professionals—devoted to their clients, of course, but also devoted to their firms and colleagues. We realize the lateral partners listed here didn't take their moves lightly. A move means more than a mere change of environment. To all, we wish continued success and the best of luck going forward.
