Pashman Stein Walder Hayden Promotes Two
Pashman Stein Walder Hayden in Hackensack has promoted Erik M. Corlett and Tracy Julian to partners effective March 15, 2018. “This is a memorable milestone in a legal career. As important as this is to Erik and Tracy, it is equally important to Pashman Stein Walder Hayden,” managing partner Michael S. Stein said in a statement.
Corlett joined in 2016 as a member of the litigation group. He has broad experience in complex litigation matters pertaining to commercial and corporate law, trusts and estates law, and personal injury matters. Corlett has extensive experience at both the trial and appellate levels. He earned his J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law in 2006 and his B.A. from Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota.
Julian has been with the firm since February 2017 as a member of the family law and commercial litigation groups, and co-head of the firm's Red Bank office. She has extensive experience representing clients in all phases of litigation, arbitration and mediation. She handles divorce, alimony, child support, and custody. She also has significant experience in commercial litigation, having handled numerous matters involving LLC and limited partnership disputes. Julian is a qualified family law mediator. She earned her J.D. from Seton Hall Law and her B.S. from James Madison University, where she graduated cum laude.
Raynes McCarty is now Raynes Lawn Hehmeyer
Trial law firm Raynes McCarty has changed its name to Raynes Lawn Hehmeyer. The name change honors the firm's legacy while recognizing new leadership: Stephen Raynes, Tim Lawn and Chuck Hehmeyer. Trial lawyer Arthur Raynes founded the firm in 1969 to represent catastrophically injured individuals and their families through trial advocacy. The firm has secured significant recoveries on behalf of its clients, with 2017 being a record year for the firm. “We are proud of our Raynes McCarty heritage and excited about our Raynes Lawn Hehmeyer future,” partner Stephen E. Raynes said in a statement. The firm is based in Malton, at 10,000 Lincoln Drive E., One Greentree Ctr, Ste 201.
Sills Cummis & Gross Welcomes Pollak
Sills Cummis & Gross added Yaakov Pollak as an associate to the firm's corporate practice group in Newark. He focuses on health care-related entities. Prior to joining the firm, Pollak was a law clerk at BrainBuilders LLC, an autism intervention agency. He received his J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law in 2017, and a B.T.S. from Beth Medrash Govoha in 2011. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey.
Pellettieri Rabstein Adds Four
Pellettieri Rabstein & Altman in Princeton brought on three new associates to the personal injury/medical malpractice departments, and announced the return of commercial law and litigation attorney Betsy Sweetser.
Dr. Douglas S. Grossbart, M.D., is a physician-attorney who focuses on medical malpractice, brain injury, nursing home negligence, product liability and other complex personal injury matters, including substantial automobile and aviation matters involving catastrophic injuries. A 1988 graduate of Seton Hall University, summa cum laude, with a degree in chemistry, and a 1993 graduate of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Grossbart completed his medical training internship in Pennsylvania before attending law school.
Christina V. Lazzaruolo, an associate in the personal injury group, is a graduate of Villanova University, Rutgers Law School and the Seton Hall School of Law Health Law LL.M. program. Prior to joining the firm, she worked for the New Jersey Department of Human Services in the Office of Legal and Regulatory Affairs.
Lara Lovett, a personal injury associate, is a graduate of the honors program at the College of New Jersey and obtained her law degree from Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law, located in Washington, D.C. She has worked in the personal injury department at Stark and Stark and as in-house counsel for Cure Auto Insurance.
The firm also welcomed back E. Elizabeth (Betsy) Sweetser. Sweetser is of counsel to the firm in the commercial law and litigation and insurance litigation departments. She concentrates on complex non-personal injury civil litigation and appeals, with an emphasis on trust and fiduciary litigation, partnership and shareholder disputes, insurance coverage and contract matters. After graduating from Rutgers Law School-Newark, Sweetser joined Pellettieri Rabstein, where she remained until late 2014. She recently rejoined the firm.

The suit, accusing the defendant of selling knock-off Graco products, was filed Dec. 18 in New Jersey District Court by Rivkin Radler on behalf of Graco Inc. and Graco Minnesota.
