Bertone Piccini Does 'Jersey and Jeans Friday' for Fundraiser
Bertone Piccini sponsored “Jersey and Jeans Fridays” in support of the Cooley's Anemia Foundation. From Feb. 23 until May 4, each employee who participated made a small donation to the foundation in honor of AJ Vigliotti, the son of the firm's colleague, Joseph Vigliotti, with the firm matching all donations. The firm raised a total of $3,380.
Riker Danzig Sponsors Relay For Life
On May 5, 2018, Riker Danzig Scherer Hyland & Perretti employees, family and friends took to the track for the American Cancer Society's “Relay for Life” at the Morristown Armory. Led by partner Michael O'Mullan, team members fundraised and took turns walking, joining other communities around the world who walked to honor cancer survivors and caregivers, and to remember loved ones lost to cancer.
In addition to the money raised by team members, Riker Danzig held a “jeans day” on Friday, April 27, 2018, for which employees contributed in exchange for the privilege to wear jeans to work. As a whole, the Morristown Relay for Life raised more than $71,000 for cancer research.
Porzio 'Denim Day' Raises $900 for Homeless Veterans
Porzio Bromberg & Newman in Morristown held a denim day to support an eighth grade civics project to collect funds for homeless veterans. The money is to be used to fill 100 knapsacks with useful items for those veterans. Porzio helped the kids raise almost $900 by having personnel donate money for being able to wear jeans on March 16.
