Prinz Joins Cape May County Higher Ed Committee

The Cape May County Board of Chosen Freeholders invited Cooper Levenson's Kelli A. Prinz to serve on a newly formed committee to help meet the higher educational and job skill needs of Cape May County students and employers. The committee is to work with Atlantic Cape Community College's Cape May County Board of Trustees. Prinz joins four other members who will be sharing insights about how the college could better meet and serve the needs of students while also meeting specific job needs of employers. Prinz, an attorney in the education law practice group of the firm, represents school boards and administrators in various matters, including litigation before the Office of Administrative Law, and state and federal courts. A lifelong resident of Cape May County, Prinz lives in Marmora, Upper Township. She currently serves as solicitor for the Wildwood Board of Education.

Mandelbaum Firm Raises Money for Special Olympics

Team Mandelbaum, the charitable arm of Roseland-based Mandelbaum Salsburg, hosted a “Tricky Tray” on June 29, 2018, to raise money for the Special Olympics New Jersey. The firm set a goal to raise $10,000 as a team set to participate in the Sept. 29, 2018, Special Olympics New Jersey Plane Pull. The event's donations totaled more than $1,700, according to the firm. The firm received prize donations from businesses such as Tumi, Zero Haliburton, Rezza and Lithos, it said.

NJSBA Holds 'Summer Blast' Happy Hour in Belmar

Attorneys and other legal professionals were invited to a “Summer Blast Happy Hour and Networking Social,” sponsored by the New Jersey State Bar Association on July 13, 2018, at Bar Anticipation in Belmar. It was sponsored by nearly 20 of the organization's sections, including the Young Lawyers Division, the Municipal Court Section, the Criminal Law Section, and the Insurance Law Section, as well as various county bars, ABA committees, and local non-legal associations, according to a release. The event brought together attorneys across a broad range of practice areas, and other professionals, for an evening of socializing and networking.
