Budd Larner Promotes Two to Partner
Budd Larner in Short Hills promoted two family law department attorneys to partner as of Sept. 4, 2018: Karolina A. Dehnhard and David R. Tawil.
Dehnhard joined Budd Larner as an associate in 2011 and was promoted to counsel in 2015. She focuses on matrimonial law, including divorce, prenuptials, child custody, parenting time, alimony, child support and domestic violence issues. She has represented clients in dealing with complex financial issues, including valuation of domestic and foreign businesses, and international custody rights. She was admitted in 2009 in New Jersey and the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey. She graduated magna cum laude from New York Law School in 2009 and clerked for Morris County Superior Court Judge Rosemary E. Ramsay. While attending law school, she interned for Judge Michael Ambrecht, in Manhattan Supreme Court, Criminal Part, and for U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Raymond T. Lyons for the District of New Jersey. She is a former adjunct professor at New York Law School.
Tawil joined Budd Larner in 2012 as counsel. Tawil previously was a partner at a matrimonial law firm in Morristown, where he practiced for nine years. He has appeared in Family Part courts in nearly every county in the state, according to the firm. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York. He is a 2002 graduate of Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York. During law school, he served an internship with Judge U.S. District Judge Nicholas Politan of the District of New Jersey. Following graduation, he served as a law clerk for Essex County Superior Court Judge Thomas P. Zampino.
Marrazo Joins Wong Fleming in Princeton
Wong Fleming welcomed Joseph Marrazo as an associate in Princeton. He earned a B.A. from Rutgers University in 2012 and a J.D. from Rutgers Law School in 2017, and is admitted to practice in New Jersey. Prior to joining Wong Fleming, Marrazo worked as a legal clerk in the Office of Administrative Law in Newark, assisting several administrative law judges. He concentrates his practice in commercial litigation, corporate law and intellectual property.
Sills Cummis Welcomes Associate Spadora

Sills Cummis & Gross added Brian L. Spadora as an associate in the products liability practice in Newark. Spadora served as a law clerk to U.S. District Judge Brian Martinotti for the District of New Jersey and had previously worked in private practice. He received his J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law, cum laude, in 2015, his M.A. from New York University in 2003, and his B.A. from the College of the Holy Cross, cum laude, in 1998. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York.
Norris McLaughlin Welcomes Wise
Michael J. Wise joined Norris McLaughlin as an associate in the litigation practice in Bridgewater. He focuses on general commercial litigation. H e served two judicial clerkships in the New Jersey Superior Court: in the Law Division with Judge Richard F. Wells , and in the Appellate Division with Judge William E. Nugent . Wise earned his J.D., cum laude, in 2016 from Rutgers Law School, where he was a staff editor of the Rutgers University Law Review; and his B.S. in 2009 from The College of New Jersey. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Wise served in the New Jersey Army National Guard for six years, where he completed a deployment in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and was honorably discharged with the rank of Sergeant, the firm noted.

The case, filed Oct. 2 in Massachusetts District Court by the Brown Law Firm on behalf of Stephen Austen, accuses certain officers and directors of misleading investors in regard to Symbotic's potential for margin growth by failing to disclose that the company was not equipped to timely deploy its systems or manage expenses through project delays. Berke on behalf of former employee George Edward Steins, who was arrested and charged with employing an unregistered home improvement salesperson. The complaint alleges that had Sunrun informed the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection that the plaintiff's employment had ended in 2017 and that he no longer held Sunrun's home improvement contractor license, he would not have been hit with charges, which were dismissed in May 2024.
