This summer marked the 16th Annual Willie Uscher Memorial Charity Softball Game between Cole Schotz and the Willie Uscher All Stars, a game that honors the memory of Hackensack attorney Willie Uscher, who shared his joy for life with everyone who crossed his path, and when faced with cancer, shared his courage. As a result of the July 19, 2018, event, played at Foschini Park in Hackensack, $5,550 was raised for the Make-A-Wish charity, allowing for the program's New Jersey chapter to grant a wish to a child facing medical hardship. Through the annual event, the firm Cole Schotz, local attorneys and Willie's family and friends have the opportunity to spread his joy, and honor his courage and spirit.
