Murphy and previously serving as director of operations for Murphy's transition office prior to inauguration. During his time with the governor's office, Miller handled environmental and energy issues within the Office of the Chief Counsel to the Governor, which involved advising on the administration's offshore wind and other clean energy initiatives. At Gibbons, Miller focuses on environmental regulatory, real estate, and corporate transactional matters, including site remediation and due diligence issues. He has handled such matters for multinational corporations, state and national developers, and individual landowners before both state and federal agencies and courts, the firm said. “We are delighted to welcome David back to the firm and look forward to his future as he continues to grow and advance in his career,” firm chairman Patrick C. Dunican Jr. said in a statement.
