The Nominating Committee of the New Jersey State Bar Association (NJSBA) invites members to apply for two vacant Young Lawyers Division (YLD) seats and a vacant section/committee trustee seat on the NJSBA Board of Trustees.

Both YLD trustee positions are for unexpired terms and candidates must be members of the YLD. One selected candidate will serve from the time of nomination until May 2019, at which time he or she may seek re-nomination for a full, two-year term. The second selected candidate will serve from the time of nomination until May 2020.

The section/committee trustee position is also for an unexpired term, with the selected candidate serving from the time of nomination until May 2019. At that time the nominated candidate may seek re-nomination for a new, two-year term.

Candidates for section/committee trustee must be NJSBA members in good standing, as well as active members of a section or committee, and must secure a formal sponsorship from the section or committee they seek to represent.

Interested candidates need to submit a letter stating their intent to seek the position. They will receive a questionnaire via email. Both the questionnaire and a sponsorship form for the section/committee position must be completed and returned no later than noon on Nov. 14.
