Freeman Joins Advisory Board at Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law
Lloyd Freeman was appointed a member of the Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law Advisory Board, an external group that advises the univeristy president, law school dean and school faculty on the development of law school academic, co-curricular, and extra-curricular programs. Freeman, a partner at Archer & Greiner, is an adjunct professor at the law school. According to the firm, he was selected as a board member because of his commitment to the legal profession, distinguished public service, and diversity of interests. The law school opened in the fall of 2006 and was the first new law school in Philadelphia in more than 30 years, the firm said. Law school Dean Daniel M. Filler said in a statement: “We're so excited to have Lloyd join the Board because of his deep expertise in legal practice and particularly his focus on the fast-growing role of technology. His experience will keep the law school curriculum on the cutting edge of legal practice.” Freeman's practice focuses on complex commercial litigation matters in state and federal courts. He is the first person of color to rise through the ranks from summer associate to attain partner status at his firm, according to the announcement. He is a member of the hiring and diversity committees, and coordinates the summer associate program. He also is the founder and chairman of the firm's affinity group, L.E.A.D. (Lawyers Encouraging Archer's Diversity). He is immediate past president of the Garden State Bar Association.Lawrence Installed as 2nd VP for NJ Chapter of AAML
Jeralyn L. Lawrence has been installed as second vice president of the New Jersey Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML). Lawrence is a partner, member of the management committee, and chair of the matrimonial and family law practice group at Norris McLaughlin in Bridgewater. She also is a member of the firm's Women's Forum steering committee. In her practice, she handles matrimonial, divorce and family law, and collaborative law. She is certified by the state Supreme Court as a matrimonial law attorney and is a trained family/divorce mediator. She is certified by the AAML as a family law arbitrator. She graduated from Kean College and Seton Hall University School of Law, where she graduated second in her class. Lawrence is treasurer of the New Jersey State Bar Association and on track to become president in 2022, and is past chair of the organization's Family Law Section. She also is past president of the Somerset County Bar Association. She works with the State Bar's Military Legal Assistance Program, providing pro bono legal assistance to New Jersey residents who have served overseas or on active duty in the armed forces after September 11, 2001, and is a member of the New Jersey Association of Justice, New Jersey Women Lawyers Association, and other professional groups.This content has been archived. The suit, accusing the defendant of selling knock-off Graco products, was filed Dec. 18 in New Jersey District Court by Rivkin Radler on behalf of Graco Inc. and Graco Minnesota. The suit, filed Dec. 11 in New York Southern District Court by Bleichmar Fonti & Auld, accuses the defendants of concealing the bank's 'pervasive' deficiencies in regards to its compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and the quality of its anti-money laundering controls. Wolf of Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani to fend off a pending breach-of-contract lawsuit. The court action, filed Nov. 25 in Michigan Eastern District Court by Hooper Hathaway PC on behalf of The Town Residences LLC, accuses Crown Castle of failing to transfer approximately $30,000 in utility payments from T-Mobile in breach of a roof-top lease and assignment agreement.
