Capehart Scatchard Raises Money for Breast Cancer Foundation

During Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Capehart Scatchard in Mount Laurel held a “jeans month” fundraiser benefiting the National Breast Cancer Foundation Inc. Attorneys and staff were asked to donate $25 to wear jeans to work for the entire month of October. For those employees who did not wish to participate for the entire month, a $2 donation was requested for each jeans day. The firm reported that the event raised $1,379 for the organization, which was founded in 1991 by breast cancer survivor Janelle Hail. It continues to grow every year to help women around the world by educating them about breast cancer and providing free mammograms to women in need, the firm said.
