Goldberg Segalla Welcomes Four
Goldberg Segalla brought on partners Thomas M. Crino, Peter H. Bach and Jonathan L. Berkowitz to the Princeton office, and associate Paula Stefanou to the Newark office.
Crino, previously with Wildenhain Crino in Warren, joined the trucking practice group. According to an announcement, Crino has more than two decades of experience representing companies, insurers, and individuals, and focuses on defending personal injury and wrongful death claims, property damage recovery, life insurance claims, and various business and commercial litigation, including disputes over contracts and the sale of goods and services.
Bach, a trial attorney previously with Campbell, Lipski & Dochney in Philadelphia, joined the workers' compensation practice group. He has almost four decades of experience representing clients in state, federal, and administrative courts, and focuses his practice on counseling and defending employers, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators in a variety of workers' compensation cases, including claims for emergent relief and Second Injury Fund litigation, according to the announcement.
Berkowitz, previously with Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith in New York City, joined several practice groups: management and professional liability, health care, long-term care, general liability, and trucking. He focuses on defending home health-care agencies, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, substance-abuse rehabilitation providers, medical transportation providers, day- and child-care facilities, trucking companies, transportation providers, and construction companies in matters involving management and professional liability. He regularly defends clients against catastrophic injury claims and wrongful death litigation.
Stefanou, previously with Viscomi & Lyons in Morristown, joined the workers' compensation practice group. She previously served as in-house counsel to a large carrier, and focuses on claims related to traumatic injuries, occupational exposure, re-openers, slip-and-fall incidents, motor vehicle accidents, Social Security Disability Insurance, and employee/independent contractor disputes.
Turner Joins Dentons as Associate
Stephen Turner joined Dentons as an associate in the Short Hills and New York City offices, in the litigation and dispute resolution group. He focuses on complex commercial litigation, including insurance and reinsurance matters. Turner earned his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame Law School, where he was senior articles editor for The Journal of College and University Law, and earned his B.A. from Princeton University. He was with Riker Danzig Scherer Hyland & Perretti from 2015 to 2018 in the commercial litigation department. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the Association of the Federal Bar of New Jersey.

J. Brugh Lower of Gibbons has entered an appearance for industrial equipment supplier Devco Corporation in a pending trademark infringement lawsuit. The suit, accusing the defendant of selling knock-off Graco products, was filed Dec. 18 in New Jersey District Court by Rivkin Radler on behalf of Graco Inc. and Graco Minnesota. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Zahid N. Quraishi, is 3:24-cv-11294, Graco Inc. et al v. Devco Corporation.

The suit, filed Dec. 11 in New York Southern District Court by Bleichmar Fonti & Auld, accuses the defendants of concealing the bank's 'pervasive' deficiencies in regards to its compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and the quality of its anti-money laundering controls. Crown Castle International, a Pennsylvania company providing shared communications infrastructure, has turned to Luke D. Wolf of Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani to fend off a pending breach-of-contract lawsuit. The court action, filed Nov. 25 in Michigan Eastern District Court by Hooper Hathaway PC on behalf of The Town Residences LLC, accuses Crown Castle of failing to transfer approximately $30,000 in utility payments from T-Mobile in breach of a roof-top lease and assignment agreement.
