Norris McLaughlin Adds Elder Law Group
Shana Siegel joined Norris McLaughlin as a partner in the elder l aw group . Siegel came from from WanderPolo & Siegel. Joining her in the move were Lori Kayne, geriatric social worker, and Laura Ocskay, a Medicaid specialist. The group is based in the Bridgewater office, but will also be available at 28 Valley Road, Suite 1, Montclair, the firm said. Siegel represents seniors, individuals with special needs, and their families in connection with life care planning, public benefits, trust and estate planning, and long-term care advocacy. She is a Certified Elder Law Attorney by the National Elder Law Foundation and has extensive experience in probate and estate administration, asset preservation, supplemental and special needs trusts, planning for disability, guardianship and estate litigation, resident rights, health-care decision making, Medicare, Medicaid, and health insurance appeals. Siegel was with WanderPolo & Siegel for more than 10 years, five as a partner. She is a past president of the New Jersey chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. She earned her J.D. in 1994 from Georgetown University, with honors, and her B.A. from Barnard College, with honors, in 1989. Kayne has been working in the health-care field for more than 20 years. She conducts geriatric assessments and develops detailed life care plans. She earned her M.S.S. from Bryn Mawr College in 1983, and her B.A., magna cum laude, from Bucknell University. She holds a Certificate in Elder Care from Stockton University, and a Certificate of Gerontology from Rutgers University. Ocskay specializes in preparing Medicaid applications, and acts as a coordinator and liaison between the attorney, client, and caseworker. Ocskay was a Medicaid specialist at WanderPolo & Siegel. Before that, she was as a legal assistant for 12 years. She received her B.A. from Notre Dame College.Trigg Joins Cohn Lifland's Family Practice
Amanda S. Trigg joined Cohn Lifland Pearlman Herrmann & Knopf's family law practice as a partner in Saddle Brook. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and a past president of its New Jersey Chapter. Certified by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a Matrimonial Law Attorney, Trigg has served as chair of the Family Law Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association. She has also been trained by the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers as a Matrimonial Law Arbitrator. She was previously a partner with Lesnevich, Marzano-Lesnevich, Trigg, O'Cathain & O'Cathain.
Bressler Amery Promotes Yablonsky
Bressler, Amery & Ross in Florham Park promoted Evan Yablonsky to partner as of Jan. 1, the firm announced. Yablonsky joined the firm in June 2014. His practice includes commercial and insurance litigation. He has more than 10 years of litigation experience overseeing a wide range of cases in federal and state courts throughout the country. Before joining Bressler, he was an assistant public defender in New Jersey. Yablonsky earned his J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law in 2008, and his B.A. from the University of Delaware in 2005. He is admitted in New Jersey and New York.
Pellettieri Firm Adds Brotman
Pellettieri Rabstein & Altman in Lawrenceville added Marc Brotman as an associate in the personal injury practice group. He started his legal career representing elderly clients as a litigation attorney for a nonprofit legal services firm. Brotman graduated from Wesleyan University, and earned his law degree from Rutgers Law School, where he was managing development editor of the Computer & Technology Law Journal and was awarded a Governor's Executive Fellowship with the Eagleton Institute of Politics. Brotman has a master's degree from Rutgers' Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy in New Brunswick. He is a second-generation plaintiffs trial lawyer. His father was Dennis Brotman, late of Fox Rothschild in Atlantic City.

J. Brugh Lower of Gibbons has entered an appearance for industrial equipment supplier Devco Corporation in a pending trademark infringement lawsuit. The suit, accusing the defendant of selling knock-off Graco products, was filed Dec. 18 in New Jersey District Court by Rivkin Radler on behalf of Graco Inc. and Graco Minnesota. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Zahid N. Quraishi, is 3:24-cv-11294, Graco Inc. et al v. Devco Corporation.

The suit, filed Dec. 11 in New York Southern District Court by Bleichmar Fonti & Auld, accuses the defendants of concealing the bank's 'pervasive' deficiencies in regards to its compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and the quality of its anti-money laundering controls. Wolf of Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani to fend off a pending breach-of-contract lawsuit. The court action, filed Nov. 25 in Michigan Eastern District Court by Hooper Hathaway PC on behalf of The Town Residences LLC, accuses Crown Castle of failing to transfer approximately $30,000 in utility payments from T-Mobile in breach of a roof-top lease and assignment agreement.
