Federal prosecutors have asked the U.S. Supreme Court to deny the appeal of Bridget Anne Kelly, a onetime aide to former Gov. Chris Christie who was recently sentenced to 13 months in prison for her role in the “Bridgegate” scandal.

Kelly was convicted in late 2016 of wire fraud and misuse of agency property in connection with a scheme to punish the mayor of Fort Lee, New Jersey, by misusing Port Authority resources to cause traffic jams and lane closures at the George Washington Bridge.
