Fink Rosner Welcomes New Associate
Donald A. Dennison joined Fink Rosner Ershow-Levenberg in Clark as an elder and disability law associate in January. He was previously an associate with WanderPolo and Siegel in Bloomfield. Dennison earned his J.D. from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center, and received his B.A. degree from Kings College in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.
Two Associates Join Parker McCay
Parker McCay announced that Colleen Heckman and William Morlok have joined the firm's Mount Laurel headquarters.
Heckman is an associate in the employment and labor department. She will be counseling clients in all areas of labor and employment law, including reviewing and drafting handbooks, workplace investigations, hiring and termination issues, wage payment and exemption and overtime issues. She received her law degree from Drexel University School of Law and her bachelor's degree from the University of Pittsburgh.
Morlok is an associate in the public schools and education department. He is an experienced litigator, and certified arbitrator and mediator. His focus at the firm will be on representing boards of education in all areas of school law, including negotiations, grievance handling, increment withholdings, arbitrations and tenure charges. He earned his J.D. from Rutgers Law School and his bachelor's degree from Pennsylvania State University.
Nuuk-Freeman & Cerra Welcomes New Associate
Nukk-Freeman & Cerra in Chatham, an employment law firm representing management, welcomed Joseph Vento as an associate in the counseling group. Vento focuses on management defense in employment and labor law counseling. He previously was at Peckar & Abramson, where he mediated and litigated employment discrimination, harassment, whistleblowing, retaliation, wrongful discharge and other employment-related cases before federal and state courts. He received his J.D. from Pace University Law School and his undergraduate degree from Marist College.
Riker Danzig Welcomes Two New Associates
Riker Danzig Scherer Hyland & Perretti of Morristown brought on new associates Venanzio E. Cortese and Thomas J. Slattery.
Cortese is an associate in the insurance and reinsurance group. He is an experienced litigator handling defense of professional malpractice claims in trial and appellate courts. He received his law degree, cum laude, from Syracuse University College of Law in 2015. Cortese graduated from Binghamton University, State University of New York, in 2012 with a B.A., magna cum laude, in political science and German. Following law school, Cortese clerked for Superior Court Judge Louis Sceusi.
Slattery is an associate in the firm's insurance and reinsurance group. He is an experienced commercial litigator, appearing in both state and federal courts. He received his law degree from Brooklyn Law School in 2014. He graduated from Rutgers University in 2008 with a B.A. in political science and philosophy.
