Greenbaum Rowe Welcomes 2019 Summer Associates
Greenbaum, Rowe, Smith & Davis brought on three second-year law school students to its 2019 summer associate program, which provides experience in transactional and litigation matters in various departments and practice areas through work with partners and associates. Litigation partner Stephanie G. Reckord serves as the supervising partner.
Rachel Frost is attending Seton Hall University School of Law, after earning her B.S. summa cum laude from Seton Hall as her class valedictorian. Her law school activities include the Seton Hall Law Institute for Privacy Protection Student Fellowship Program and the Student Bar Association (executive board). Frost most recently served as a legal extern in the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General, Data Privacy and Cybersecurity Section.
Michelle A. Gitlen is attending Seton Hall Law after earning her B.A. from the University of Maryland. Her law school activities include serving as an associate editor of the Seton Hall Law Review. Gitlen most recently served as an intern for Superior Court Judge Daniel D'Alessandro in the Family Part.
Levi Klinger-Christiansen is attending Seton Hall Law after earning his B.A. summa cum laude from The College of New Jersey. He most recently served as a judicial intern for Judge Patty Shwartz of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
Hall Booth Smith Adds Three Partners in New Jersey
Hall Booth Smith welcomed Jeffrey M. Daitz , Jacqueline Voronov and Raymond A. Reddin as partners in the firm's newly opened office in Saddle Brook.
Jeffrey Daitz is co-chair of the firm's labor and employment law group and co-director of the employment practices liability insurance defense department. He specializes in mediating and litigating all types of employment discrimination claims i ncluding sexual harassment, hostile work environment, whistleblowing, retaliation, wrongful discharge, defamation and misappropriation . His nationwide practice is focused on defending employers in employment practices liability insurance (EPLI) matters and directors & officers (D&O) claims.
Voronov focuses her practice on high-conflict labor and employment matters, general liability, appellate work, business litigation and government liability. She defends clients in harassment, wrongful termination, race, gender, national origin and disability and age discrimination matters. Voronov earned a J.D. from New England School of Law, and a bachelor's degree from Pennsylvania State University.
Reddin, with more than 40 years' experience, leads the firm's mediation and arbitration practice. He is a retired New Jersey Superior Court judge, having served on the bench for 16 years. In his career as a litigator, he tried more than 100 cases in state and federal courts. He has also served as the attorney for the Passaic County Police Academy and the Totowa Board of Education.
Mandelbaum Salsburg Adds Former DAG Salloum
Christopher Salloum joined Mandelbaum Salsburg in Roseland as an associate in the health-care and government enforcement and white collar groups. Salloum previously served as a deputy attorney general in the Division of Law, where he was a member of the Professional Boards Prosecution and Government and Health-care Fraud Prosecution Sections. At the law firm he will assist licensed professionals facing fraud investigations before various professional licensing boards, including the Board of Medical Examiners, and unlicensed individuals in health care-related prosecutions. Salloum earned his B.A., summa cum laude, from Rutgers University, and his J.D. with honors from the George Washington University Law School. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey, New York and the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.
Landman Corsi Welcomes Back Ramme
Landman Corsi Ballaine & Ford a civil litigation firm in Newark, announced that Jennifer A. Ramme rejoined as a member in April. She initially joined the firm in 2012, after serving as a law clerk for Judge Malachy E. Mannion of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania. Her practice focuses on employment, civil rights, and professional liability litigation. From 2017 to 2019, Ramme left private practice to work for Zurich Insurance Co., where she oversaw the handling of employment, professional liability and general liability claims.Miller Returns to Giordano Halleran as a Partner
David J. Miller, an environmental attorney with experience in the private and public sectors, has returned to Giordano, Halleran & Ciesla in Red Bank as a partner. Previously he was an associate at Gibbons in Newark. He counsels clients on the Industrial Site Recovery Act, Site Remediation Reform Act, Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act, due diligence, participation in potentially responsible party groups and interaction with the Environmental Protection Agency on Superfund matters. Miller worked at Giordano Halleran as an environmental associate in 2015 and 2016. He earned his B.A. from the College of New Jersey and his J.D., cum laude, from Rutgers Law School-Camden.
