Archer Welcomes Eight Summer Associates
Archer in Haddonfield on May 28 announced its summer associates program on, which includes eight law students. The students gain real experience as they interact with firm attorneys, staff and clients, and will travel to all of Archer's office locations. Chief Diversity Officer Lloyd Freeman said in a statement: “We are thrilled to welcome the next generation of legal leaders to our 2019 Summer Associate Program. We use this program to attract and retain the best and brightest legal talent to serve our clients, our community, and our profession. Having gone through the program myself, I know firsthand the real-life lawyering experience these students will receive over the next few weeks. I am proud that the firm continues to provide such an enriching opportunity to law students who bring diverse viewpoints and experiences to the firm.” The associates are: Gabriel B. |Harwood Lloyd Promotes Kiel
Harwood Lloyd in Hackensack has promoted associate Paul E. Kiel to counsel. He joins the firm's insurance litigation department. He litigates insurance and tort matters, and has experience with legal research and writing, preparation of motion documents, trial preparation work and appellate litigation in both state and federal courts. Kiel received his B.A. in history from Rutgers College in 1979, graduating with highest honors. He received his J.D. from the Dickinson School of Law in 1982. Kiel served as a law clerk to Union County Superior Court Judges A. Donald McKenzie and Judge Robert J.T. Mooney of the Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court in Union County. He is admitted in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, and the U.S. district courts for the District of New Jersey and the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. |
McManimon Firm Welcomes McGuire as Partner
McManimon, Scotland & Baumann in Roseland welcomed Grant W. McGuire to the litigation practice as a partner. He has more than 20 years' experience and has successfully tried cases to conclusion in New Jersey's federal and state courts, the firm said. McGuire has represented clients in professional liability defense, employment matters, products liability, insurance coverage issues, premises liability and mediation and arbitration.
Riker Danzig Welcomes Siobhan Nolan
Morristown-based Riker Danzig Scherer Hyland & Perretti hired Siobhan A. Nolan as an associate in the commercial litigation group. She has represented major financial institutions and Fortune 500 companies in financial services and complex commercial litigation, the firm said. Nolan received her J.D. from Rutgers Law School-Newark in 2012, where she served as the senior notes and comments editor of the Women's Rights Law Reporter. In 2009 she received her B.A., cum laude, from Fordham University. She clerked for Presiding Appellate Division Judge Clarkson S. Fisher Jr.
