McElroy, Deutsch, Mulvaney & Carpenter welcomed nine summer associates and three law clerks this year.

In Morristown: Jennifer Belardo attends Boston College School of Law, where she is a member of the Women's Law Center. She received her B.A. in political science and Russian studies from Davidson College in 2017. She externed last summer for U.S. Magistrate Judge Joseph A. Dickson. Destinae Demery attends Howard University School of Law, where she is a member of Phi Alpha Delta Law fraternity. She is also a member of the Charles Hamilton Houston National Moot Court Team. She earned her B.A. in political science from California State University, Northridge. Last summer, Demery was a judicial extern at the California Second District Court of Appeals, and last fall she was a legal intern at the Commodity Futures Trading Commission in Washington D.C. David Han is a student at Rutgers Law School in Newark, where he serves as the 2L representative and a member of the Labor and Employment Society. He received his B.S. in applied mathematics and statistics from Stony Brook University (SUNY). Last summer, Han was a legal intern for the U.S. Department of Labor, and last fall he interned for Superior Court Judge Linda. L. Cavanaugh. Andrew Marone is a student at Seton Hall University School of Law. He received his B.A. from the University of Scranton in 2016. Last summer he was a law clerk at McMahon, Martine & Gallagher. Prior to starting law school, Andrew was a litigation paralegal at McElroy Deutsch's New York office. Timothy Profeta attends Seton Hall Law, where he is a member of the Seton Hall Legislative Journal. He earned his B.A. in sociology from Rhode Island University in 2016. Last summer Profeta was a summer legal fellow at Panasonic of North America and a research assistant for Professor Maya Grosz of Seton Hall Law. He externed for New Jersey Supreme Court Justice Walter F. Timpone.
In Newark: Aram Movaseghi is a student at St. John's University School of Law, where he is a staff member of the American Bankruptcy Institute Law Review and a member of the Corporate and Securities Law Society, the Intellectual Property Law Society and the Tax Law Society. He received his B.A. in economics from Stony Brook University (SUNY) in 2016. Movaseghi previously interned for U.S. Magistrate Judge Douglas E. Arpert.
In New York: Alyssa Drazin is a student at Brooklyn Law School, where she is a member of the Center for Urban Business Entrepreneurship, Brooklyn Business Law Association and the Intellectual Property Law Association. She received her B.B.A. in business administration from the University of Miami. Last summer Drazin clerked at the firm's Newark office. Shannon Maroutian currently attends McGill University Faculty of Law, where she is a member of the McGill Journal of Law and Health. She received her B.A. in political science and history from McGill University in 2017. Last summer, Maroutian clerked at the firm's New York office.
In Phladelphia: Margaret Corcoran attends Temple University Beasley School of Law, where she is a staff member of the Temple Law Review and a member of the Womens' Law Caucus. She earned her B.S. in psychology from Drexel University in 2016. Last summer Corcoran was a law clerk at Sidkoff, Pincus & Green in Philadelphia.
Law clerks (1Ls) are: Samantha Weckenman in Newark, Kiron Kothari in the firm's Greenwood Village, Colorado, office, and Lauren Graham in the Hartford, Connecticut office.

J. Brugh Lower of Gibbons has entered an appearance for industrial equipment supplier Devco Corporation in a pending trademark infringement lawsuit. The suit, accusing the defendant of selling knock-off Graco products, was filed Dec. 18 in New Jersey District Court by Rivkin Radler on behalf of Graco Inc. and Graco Minnesota.
