Riker Danzig Scherer Hyland & Perretti welcomed Tracy Fink, CEO and founder of The Tortoise Institute, as the featured speaker at its annual “Women in Leadership Reception” on June 26, held at the Morris County Golf Club in Morristown for about 100 firm attorneys, clients and friends, according to a release. Fink spoke on “Mindfulness: Bridging Together Leadership and Well-Being,” incorporating breathing and mindful-listening exercises. Fink is past director of the Executive Women’s Forum at CohnReznick, and is a mentor for the Rider University Women’s Leadership Council. She regularly leads leadership development workshops, focusing on science-based programs around effective leadership, mindfulness and emotional intelligence, the firm noted.

The intellectual property team from Greenberg Traurig’s Florham Park office attended the New Jersey Intellectual Property Law Association’s “Jefferson Medal Dinner” on June 7 in Short Hills. The event honored the U.S. District Judge Gregory M. Sleet of the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware. The event included networking, followed by a formal dinner and ceremony. The attendees included many leaders in the New Jersey IP legal community, the firm said in its release.
