The Law Journal is pleased to announce an upcoming special section devoted to our Diverse Attorneys of the Year honors.

Our staff is seeking nominations, from anywhere in New Jersey, of attorneys making an impact at a law firm, in-house legal department, government agency or public interest organization. We are looking for diversity in all its forms, including ethnic, racial, gender and LGBT. We are also looking to recognize impact on the profession in all its forms—the nominee might have taken up or resolved a significant case or transaction, led a department through a difficult stretch, or helped change policy. The nominee might have championed the cause of diversity herself or himself, though that is not specifically required for consideration.

We seek to highlight honorees' accomplishments over the past two years.

There is no official form to fill out. Please send nominations to David Gialanella ([email protected]) and Juliette Gillespie ([email protected]) in the form of a letter/brief bio—no more than 1000 words—by Friday, Sept. 6, 2019.

The honorees will be chosen and announced in the fall, and we'll seek some insights directly from them to include in our upcoming special supplement.

Thanks—we look forward to hearing from you.
