Saiber Collects School Supplies for 'Jersey Cares' School Supply Drive
Saiber employees donated hundreds of school supply items to help benefit the 2019 Jersey Cares School Supplies Drive, which benefits thousands of under-resourced children in New Jersey, the firm said in a release. Backpacks, pens and pencils, and notebooks were among the items donated by over 30 Saiber employees, the release said.
|Kenney Named to NJSBA Criminal Law Section's Board
Einhorn, Barbarito, Frost & Botwinick announced that Brian D. Kenney , counsel in the criminal practice group, was selected to the board of trustees for the Criminal Law Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association for a two-year term. Kenney, a former Morris County assistant prosecutor, represents clients dealing with criminal charges or investigations, handling cases from initial investigation or arrest through trial and appeal if necessary. He also represents clients in municipal courts. Kenney received his J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law, and his B.A., cum laude, from King's College. He clerked for Morris County Assignment Judge B. Theodore Bozonelis . From 2002 to 2005, he served as an assistant prosecutor with the Morris County Prosecutor's Office, and thereafter he practiced criminal defense with Nuzzi & Mason for nearly 8 years. He then returned to the Morris County Prosecutor's Office from 2013 to 2018 as an assistant prosecutor. He is a member of the Morris County Bar Association and the Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers of New Jersey. Kenney said in a statement: "With more than 18 years of criminal law experience, I hope to provide useful insight into the criminal law issues we face as both prosecutors and defense lawyers." |
Bruno Reappointed Division Director of ABA Section of Litigation
Kevin J. Bruno , a Princeton-based partner and co-chair of the energy, environment, and mass torts practice group of Blank Rome, has been reappointed to leadership of the American Bar Association Section of Litigation, and will now serve his third term as one of the section's division directors for the 2019-2020 bar year. In his role as division director, Bruno will supervise substantive committees of the Section of Litigation and collaborate ABA leaders to further the association's goals. One of the largest section of the ABA, the Section of Litigation's mission is to provide litigators of all practice areas with the resources needed to become successful and experienced advocates. Bruno has held various leadership positions within the section, including co-chair of its 2,000-member environmental and energy litigation committee, and co-chair of its expert witnesses committee. He also continues to serve as the section's liaison to the ABA Special Committee on Section, Division, and Forum Coordination.
