Michael P. Castore  joined Giordano, Halleran & Ciesla in Red Bank, focusing on environmental and land-use matters. He previously was an associate with Ansell Grimm & Aaron in Ocean Township. His practice includes remediation, development, redevelopment, zoning, business counseling, environmental and land-use litigation, and corporate transactions. He also handles environmental permitting and regulatory compliance involving wetlands, CAFRA areas, riparian/tidelands law, flood hazard areas, water and air quality, and underground storage tank compliance. He practices at the municipal, county, state and federal levels. He graduated from Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University, concentrating on real estate and land use practice and earning an Environmental Law Certificate. Castore graduated from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, majoring in environmental policy, institutions and behaviors.

Nehmad Perillo Davis & Goldstein, a real estate and commercial litigation law firm, announced five new attorney hires in its Egg Harbor Township and Avalon locations. "I am very proud of the way our firm has grown over the past four decades," said Nehmad Perillo partner Stephen Nehmad in a statement by the firm. "With the addition of Eric Goldstein as a named partner earlier this year and our announcement of five additional attorneys, I know we are cultivating the next generation of talented legal professionals to lead our firm in the years ahead."

Scott Marcus (Rutgers Law School-Camden, 1976) focuses on bankruptcy and workouts, creditors' rights, real estate litigation and probate litigation. He has been in the continuous private practice of law since 1977 and serves as of counsel to the firm.

Michael J. Lario Jr. (Rutgers Law School-Camden, 2017) focuses on commercial litigation, land use, chancery litigation and local government law. He previously clerked for Superior Court Judge Mark Sandson and is a certified mediator for the Special Civil Part.

Matthew D. Sykes (Rutgers Law School-Camden, 2011) concentrates on commercial litigation, real estate development, environmental/regulatory law and appellate practice. He previously practiced at a large plaintiffs firms, representing state attorneys general in consumer fraud actions. He also practiced in Washington, D.C., focusing on commercial litigation, international disputes, and white-collar defense and investigations.

CherylLynn Walters (Rutgers Law School-Camden, 2001) concentrates on municipal/local government representation, land use (planning and zoning), real estate transactions and litigation, business formation, business sales and acquisitions, contract preparation, commercial litigation, will preparation, and probate and estate administration.

Jessica R. Witmer (Pace University School of Law, 2013) practices in complex corporate and commercial real estate transactions, estate planning and commercial litigation. She is licensed in New York and New Jersey, and has experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating buy-sell agreements, commercial leases, shareholder agreements, asset purchase agreements and real estate contracts.
