Curcio Mirzaian Promotes Haller to Partner
Curcio Mirzaian Sirot in Roseland announced that Jason S. Haller was promoted to a partner. Haller has been practicing as a business litigator for more than a decade, focusing on partnership dissolution, shareholder oppression, restrictive covenants, protection of trade secrets, and general commercial and civil matters. His clients include small-to-medium-sized businesses, individuals, and community associations, the firm said. He is vice chair of the Essex County Bar Association's Civil Litigation Committee, and is an active member of its Chancery Committee. Haller also maintains an active docket of plaintiff's personal injury and medical malpractice matters, and chairs the firm's personal injury practice group, the firm said. |
Snyder Sarno Welcomes Paciorkowski
Snyder Sarno D'Aniello Maceri & da Costa welcomed Thomas Paciorkowski as of counsel in the firm's Roseland office. With the addition of Paciorkowski, the firm's medical malpractice and personal injury divisions have expanded to include consumer protection and class action litigation, Snyder Sarno said in a release. Paciorkowski devotes his practice to consumer protection litigation, primarily consumer class action litigation. The firm said his experience in the field of consumer protection litigation helps ensure clients are met with strong, strategic legal counsel to protect the rights and safety of clients and consumers in general. |
Pellettieri Rabstein Welcomes White as Associate
Pellettieri Rabstein & Altman announced that Ashley M. White joined the personal injury department as a new associate. She obtained her J.D. from Wake Forest University School of Law. Prior to joining Pellettieri Rabstein, she served as a special deputy attorney general/acting assistant prosecutor with the Essex County Prosecutor's Office. She is licensed to practice in New York and New Jersey. |
Banthia Joins Archer as Associate
Vinita Banthia joined Archer & Greiner's Haddonfield office as an associate in the environmental law practice group. Banthia specializes in complex environmental litigation, products liability claims, and toxic torts. She received her law degree from the University of Minnesota Law School, where she worked as a student advocate representing and defending students accused of misconduct on campus, such as plagiarism, academic dishonesty and dormitory violations, as well as sexual harassment and sexual assault. Banthia served as president and vice president of the South Asian Law Student Association, and articles editor of the Minnesota Journal of Law, Science & Technology . She clerked for the university's office of the general counsel, and later at a patent prosecution law firm, working on patents related to medical devices, gene sequences and agricultural inventions. She externed for then-Chief Judge Michael Davis of the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota. |
Health-care Associate Joins Capehart Scatchard
Kristen Mowery Capehart Scatchard in Mount Laurel as an associate in the health-care law department. She handles transactional matters, including shareholder and employment agreements, purchases and sales of medical practices, including ACO and IPO transactions, and practice mergers, the firm said. She received her B.S., cum laude, from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania and her J.D. from Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law. Mowery previously served as a legal extern to Judge Robert B. Kugler of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey. She is admitted to practice in New Jersey.
