The Princeton law firm Mason, Griffin & Pierson is celebrating its 65th anniversary in 2020, according to a firm release. Since its founding in 1955, the firm has evolved from a two-lawyer general practice partnership to a midsize professional corporation that has developed specific areas of concentration including business and banking, employment law, estates and trusts, local government law, litigation, and real estate and land use, the firm said, noting that its attorneys have held leadership positions in several professional organizations. Two of the firm's attorneys have served as president of the Mercer County Bar Association, and in 2001, the firm received the "Community Partner Award" from the Mercer County Bar Foundation, the release noted, also citing other recognitions. The firm's first municipal client, Princeton, remains a client today, along with other municipalities and government bodies in several counties, the firm said.
