Herrick Feinstein Announces New Partner
Herrick, Feinstein announced the elevation of Leah Kelman to partner in the litigation department in Newark. She concentrates her practice on complex commercial litigation, including class action defense, title insurance, and professional responsibility, ethics and risk management. She also advises the firm on a range of matters, including ethics compliance, litigation, risk management and insurance issues. Kelman is a member of the firm's risk management committee and serves on the firm's electronic discovery committee.
Practice Leadership Changes at Scarinci Hollenbeck
Scarinci Hollenbeck recently announced several leadership changes in the commercial real estate, corporate transactions and business law, and tax, trusts and estates practice groups in Lyndhurst. All the changes are effective Jan. 1.
Joining the firm's commercial real estate section as co-chair alongside partner Donald M. Pepe is counsel Stephanie D. Edelstein . She joined the firm in November 2018 as a member of the commercial real estate practice group. She has more than a decade of experience handling a range of transactional real estate matters, according to the firm. Edelstein focuses her practice on acquisitions and dispositions of commercial and multi-family properties, leasing matters and mortgage financing.
Fred D. Zemel Jeffrey K. Cassin
Jeffrey R. Pittard , counsel, has been named chair of the firm's tax, trusts and estates section. Pittard has been a member of that practice group since he joined the firm in November 2016. He focuses on representing taxpayers in audit, assessment, and collection disputes with federal and state taxing authorities. He also handles tax planning and wealth preservation for high-net worth individuals. He also regularly handles estate administration in New York, New Jersey, and Florida, the firm said.
Giordano Halleran Welcomes Lee as New Associate
Linda M. Lee has joined Giordano, Halleran & Ciesla of Red Bank as an associate. She handles development, redevelopment, environmental compliance, corporate transactional, land use, zoning and business counseling matters. She also concentrates on complex remediation cases and general environmental compliance counseling. Lee earned her J.D. from Rutgers Law School-Newark, where she was editor-in-chief of the Rutgers Law Review, and her B.A. from Ramapo College. After graduating from law school, Lee clerked for Appellate Division Judge Marianne Espinosa . She is admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York, and in the U.S. District Courts for the District of New Jersey, the Southern District of New York and the Eastern District of New York.This content has been archived.
