The Family Law Sectio n of the New Jersey State Bar Association held its annual holiday party at Galloping Hill Golf Club in Kenilworth on Dec. 12, 2019. The Young Lawyers Section organized a silent auction, raffle charity and 50/50 raffle, and they raised nearly $14,000 for Partners For Women and Justice . |

Capehart Scatchard in Mount Laurel announced that the firm looked to make the holidays brighter for a well-deserving Burlington County family with four young children. Over the past month, attorneys and staff have been donating money and bringing in toys, shoes and clothing items from the children's wish lists, as well as presents for the parents, according to the firm. In addition, the family received food for a holiday dinner, said Capehart Scatchard.  |

For more than 20 years, employees of Morristown's  Riker Danzig Scherer Hyland & Perretti  have collected new toys for children ranging in age from newborn to 15 years old, and this year hundreds of toys were collected to be donated to the Jersey Battered Women's Shelter and Morristown Neighborhood House for the holiday season, the firm said in a release. This year, Riker Danzig's toy drive was organized by partner Bethany A. Abele with the help of Director of Library and Research Services Anne Shulman .
