For the sixth year, Giordano, Halleran & Ciesla in Red Bank has fulfilled the holiday wish lists of Monmouth County domestic and sexual violence survivors and their families, donating more than 125 gifts to 16 families with children ranging in age from 1 to 14, through nonprofit 180 Turning Lives Around Inc. of Hazlet, according to a firm release. Gifts included a bicycle and helmet, toys, art supplies, Amazon gift cards, gift cards for movies and haircuts, dolls, and clothing. Skrocki , who co-chairs the Giving Tree project with her co-worker, Margie Nimbley . 180 Turning Lives Around helps survivors and their families find the strength to recover from abusive situations through 24/7 hotlines, individual and group counseling, legal advocacy, emergency shelter and transitional housing. |
