Giordano Halleran Partners Receive Builders Association Awards

Steven M. Dalton and Michael J. Gross, partners who practice environmental law at Giordano, Halleran & Ciesla in Red Bank, have been chosen for industry awards from the New Jersey Builders Association. Dalton, co-chair of the firm's site remediation practice group, received the Associate of the Year Award. The New Jersey Builders Association honored environmental law partners Steven M. Dalton and Michael J. Gross of Giordano, Halleran & Ciesla in Red Bank at its annual Industry Awards Breakfast on Jan. 29 at the Forsgate Country Club in Monroe. Dalton, co-chair of the firm's site remediation practice group, received the "Associate of the Year" award for outstanding achievements throughout 2019. Gross, the firm's co-managing partner and co-chair of its environmental law practice, was chosen for the "Golden Handshake" award for his service over time as a model representative of the industry and association, according to a release. Dalton is a member of

the New Jersey Builders Association's Environmental Affairs Committee and the National Association of Home Builders' Legal Action Committee. He received the NJBA's "Cornerstone Award" in 2018 and the Legislative Affairs Committee award in 2016. He also is active with the Shore Builders Association of Central New Jersey (SBACNJ), serving as a founding member of its Young Professional Committee. Gross is the Builders Association's  environmental counsel, and serves on the Environmental Affairs Committee and Utilities Task Force. He also serves as SBACNJ general counsel and chair of its Legal Action Committee. He is a member of the National Association of Home Builders' Legal Action Committee and its Legal Action Network for Development Strategies.
