McOmber Firm Adds Adler as Partner
McOmber McOmber & Luber brought on Kelly E. Adler as a partner in Marlton. She has more than 11 years of experience with employment litigation matters and school law, the firm said, and has presented on topics including harassment, discrimination, bullying, workplace violence and workers' rights. She previously practiced as an associate at Brown & Connery, Capehart & Scatchard and Litchfield Cavo. Adler received her Bachelor's degree in finance from The College of New Jersey and her J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law. During law school, she was an extern for the New Jersey Department of Children and Families, and was involved with the Immigrants' Rights Clinic. Adler is admitted in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, U.S. District Court of the District of New Jersey and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
|Goldberg Segalla Welcomes Newark Partner
Goldberg Segalla added partner Kevin P. Sullivan to the global insurance services group
in Newark. Sullivan, previously senior counsel at Traub Liberman in Red Bank, focuses on complex insurance coverage issues and has substantial experience advising insurers on insurance coverage and claims-handling issues in state and federal courts, as well as in alternative dispute resolution forums, according to the firm. His practice also includes litigating first-party and third-party disputes arising from multiple lines of insurance, including property, general liability, professional liability, and excess liability policies. Sullivan graduated from Fairfield University and Seton Hall University School of Law.
|Former Hoboken Chief of Staff Rejoins Schenck Price
John P. Allen has rejoined Schenck Price Smith & King in Florham Park, as counsel focusing on land use, redevelopment, employment law, liquor licensing, governmental affairs, and municipal litigation. Allen served as chief of staff for the city of Hoboken under Mayors Dawn Zimmer and Ravi Bhalla . In that role, he was responsible for the management of all aspects of municipal government, including economic development, emergency services, redevelopment, legal affairs, and labor negotiations. He was previously affiliated with Schenck Price until 2017, when he joined the Zimmer administration in Hoboken.
Mason Griffin Adds Associate
Mason, Griffin & Pierson brought on Jeanne-Marie Scollo as an associate in the local
government law and litigation practice groups. She previously served as deputy county counsel for Middlesex County from 2014 to 2019 and was a solo practitioner in New Brunswick. She earned her J.D from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center. Scollo is admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York, and is a member of the Middlesex County and New Jersey State bar associations.

The complaint was filed Sept. 4 in Connecticut District Court by attorney Robert M. Berke on behalf of former employee George Edward Steins, who was arrested and charged with employing an unregistered home improvement salesperson. The complaint alleges that had Sunrun informed the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection that the plaintiff's employment had ended in 2017 and that he no longer held Sunrun's home improvement contractor license, he would not have been hit with charges, which were dismissed in May 2024.
