A New Jersey judge has dismissed two suits seeking to stop the planned consolidation of Westminster Choir College and Rider University.

The students, faculty and alumni who filed the suits claimed Rider’s plan to move Westminster’s undergraduate and graduate music programs from that school’s campus in Princeton to the Rider campus in nearby Lawrenceville violated conditions set by a benefactor who donated land for the choir college.
