Black attorneys, including partners and law firm leaders across the United States, have been recounting their reactions to George Floyd’s death, the days of protests that have followed and racial justice in America more broadly.

Floyd, a 46-year-old black man, died May 25 after Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin held his knee on Floyd’s neck for more than eight minutes while three other officers looked on.
