Gambone Joins NJSBA's Family Law Section Executive Committee

Rubin M. Sinins, a partner at Javerbaum Wurgaft Hicks Kahn Wikstrom & Sinins in Springfield, has been appointed to the Essex County Correctional Facility Civilian Task Force by Essex County Executive Joseph N. DiVincenzo Jr., and the Essex County Board of Chosen Freeholders. The task force will provide oversight of the county correctional facility, working toward fair and equal treatment under the law, including for those incarcerated. The task force also aims to provide a safe and secure atmosphere for inmates, detainees, corrections officers and staff. "I am honored to have been selected to serve on this important task force to help protect the lives, health, safety and rights of all people confined at the ECCF," said Sinins in a statement. Sinins is filling the seat designated for a member in good standing of the New Jersey criminal defense bar. He is past president of the Essex County Bar Association, and is a member and past chair of the Judicial and Prosecutorial Appointments Committee for the association. He previously chaired the District V-B Ethics Committee. Sinins earned his B.A. and M.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and his J.D. from the George Washington University National Law Center in Washington, D.C., where he was a notes editor for the George Washington Law Review.
