Capehart Scatchard Christina M. Dewland Stacey R. GorinDewland focuses her practice on litigation in the federal and state courts of New Jersey and Pennsylvania. She earned her J.D. from Rutgers Law School in Camden and her B.S. in criminal justice from Drexel University. Upon law school graduation, she clerked for two judges in Gloucester County Superior Court: David W. Morgan, then presiding civil judge, and Robert P. Becker Jr,, presiding chancery judge. Dewland is admitted to practice law in New Jersey,
Subranni ZauberGorin focuses on commercial litigation and creditors' rights. She earned her J.D. from Rutgers Law School in Camden, an M.A. in professional and business communication from La Salle University, and a B.S. in business administration from Saint Joseph's University. Upon law school graduation, she clerked for Judge Richard J. Nocella, presiding family judge in Burlington County Superior Court. Gorin is admitted to practice law in New Jersey. Previously she practiced at Pringle, Quinn, Anzano in Mount Laurel.
Stark & Stark Welcomes Summer Associates
Stark & Stark, despite the ongoing pandemic, moved forward with its fourth annual summer associate program, bringing on three summer associates from June 1 through July 24, the firm announced. These associates will work with various different practice groups at the firm's Lawrenceville office over the course of the program. "Today's law students are tomorrow's
leaders of the law. Stark & Stark is proud to serve as a foundation for the future success of our three summer associates, Zachary, Cassidy, and Yaritza. In this ever changing environment, I am confident that we will learn as much from them as they learn from us," said managing partner Michael Donahue in a statement.
Zachary Linse, from Jersey City, attended Vassar College for economics and psychology, and is a rising third-year law student at Seton Hall University School of Law. He is a senior editor of the Seton Hall Law Review, was on the Jessup International Law Moot Court Team, was a student advocate for the Courtroom Advocate Program, and is a member of the First Generation Law Students Association. Linse said in a statement that he is "most excited to be exposed to the numerous practice areas offered by Stark &
Stark, and to absorb as much information as possible."
Cassidy Page is from State College, Pennsylvania. She is a rising third-year law student at Pennsylvania State University, Penn State Law. She previously attended Northern Illinois University, where she received a B.S., marketing and sales certificate. At Penn State Law, Page has participated in the arbitration moot court and first-year law school mock trial. She is also a member of the Corporate Law Society and plays soccer through the law school's intramural program, having been a Division I soccer player in college. In a statement by the firm, Page said she is "looking
forward to getting to [know] a lot of attorneys at a large firm. I also look forward to gaining exposure to different practice areas."
Yaritza Urena-Mendez is from Newark. Having attended Seton Hall University for undergrad and Rutgers Law School for two years, she will be a third-year law student at the Newark campus in the fall. At Rutgers Law, Urena-Mendez is the managing editor for the International Law and Human Rights Journal. She is a member of the Minority Student Program and was a teaching fellow for the program. Urena-Mendez is also a member of the Association of Latin American Law Students, holding a position on the executive board. She also holds an executive board position as treasurer for the LGBTQ Caucus. In a statement, Urena-Mendez said she is "incredibly eager to learn from the breadth of expertise of the firm's attorneys. I also look forward to exploring the firm's wide range of practice areas to expand my legal knowledge and best serve Stark & Stark's clients."

Driscoll from Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr have stepped in to represent Symbotic Inc., an A.I.-enabled technology platform that focuses on increasing supply chain efficiency, and other defendants in a pending shareholder derivative lawsuit. The case, filed Oct. 2 in Massachusetts District Court by the Brown Law Firm on behalf of Stephen Austen, accuses certain officers and directors of misleading investors in regard to Symbotic's potential for margin growth by failing to disclose that the company was not equipped to timely deploy its systems or manage expenses through project delays. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Nathaniel M. Gorton, is 1:24-cv-12522, Austen v. Cohen et al.

Edmund Polubinski and Marie Killmond of Davis Polk & Wardwell have entered appearances for data platform software development company MongoDB and other defendants in a pending shareholder derivative lawsuit. The action, filed Oct. 7 in New York Southern District Court by the Brown Law Firm, accuses the company's directors and/or officers of falsely expressing confidence in the company’s restructuring of its sales incentive plan and downplaying the severity of decreases in its upfront commitments. The suit was filed Sept. 7 in Wisconsin Western District Court by Levine Eisberner LLC and Siri & Glimstad on behalf of a project manager who claims that he was wrongfully terminated after applying for a religious exemption to the defendant's COVID-19 vaccine mandate. David X. Sullivan, Thomas J. Finn and Gregory A. Hall from McCarter & English have entered appearances for Sunrun Installation Services in a pending civil rights lawsuit. The complaint was filed Sept. 4 in Connecticut District Court by attorney Robert M. Berke on behalf of former employee George Edward Steins, who was arrested and charged with employing an unregistered home improvement salesperson. The complaint alleges that had Sunrun informed the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection that the plaintiff's employment had ended in 2017 and that he no longer held Sunrun's home improvement contractor license, he would not have been hit with charges, which were dismissed in May 2024. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Jeffrey A. Meyer, is 3:24-cv-01423, Steins v. Sunrun, Inc. et al.
