The 11-member Senate Judiciary Committee on Monday voted unanimously to approve the nomination of Fabiana Pierre-Louis to serve as associate justice on the New Jersey Supreme Court.

The panel voted at 12:40 p.m. by a unanimous vote to send her nomination to the full Senate for a confirmation vote this Thursday. A majority of the 40 senators is required to give final approval.
