The Association of the Federal Bar of New Jersey announced the 2020 William J. Brennan Jr. Award recipient and the swearing-in of its new officers and trustees. The virtual ceremony was held on June 11. The 2020 William J. Brennan Jr. Award will be presented to Judge Patty Shwartz of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, at the William J. Brennan Jr. Reception scheduled for Sept. 30. The case, filed Oct. 2 in Massachusetts District Court by the Brown Law Firm on behalf of Stephen Austen, accuses certain officers and directors of misleading investors in regard to Symbotic's potential for margin growth by failing to disclose that the company was not equipped to timely deploy its systems or manage expenses through project delays.
