A woman who suffered neck and back injuries while working for a construction company on Route 17 near Route 4 in Paramus agreed to an $800,000 settlement in her Camden County suit, Tretter v. Gross, and was paid on Sept. 4.

Ju-Lee Tretter was monitoring traffic while sitting in a construction vehicle belonging to her employer, Mount Construction Co. of Berlin, in the southbound left lane of Route 17 in Paramus on March 22, 2017, when her vehicle was rear-ended by another driven by Peter Gross. At the time of the accident, Tretter was seated in a stationary vehicle equipped with flashing arrow signs intended to alert traffic of a lane closure, according to her attorney, Vanessa Patrizi of Borbi, Clancy & Patrizi in Marlton.
