A package delivery worker who had his right leg crushed by a rolling forklift while out on a run in 2018 settled his Essex County Superior Court case, Sanchez-Oronzor vs. United Same Day Delivery, on Oct. 15 for $850,000.

Selective Insurance Co. will pay the entire settlement on behalf of the defendant to plaintiff Marcos Sanchez-Oronzor of Newark, who sued United Same Day Delivery over the injuries he sustained from the accident, according to Robert G. Hicks of Javerbaum Wurgaft Hicks Kahn Wikstrom & Sinins in the firm’s Freehold office, Sanchez-Oronzor’s counsel.
