The renomination of Faustino Fernandez-Vina for New Jersey Supreme Court associate justice and the nominations of four first-time Superior Court judges were confirmed unanimously by the state Senate on Thursday.

By a 34-0 vote at 2:33 p.m., Fernandez-Vina was approved for tenure, and the following were approved to join the Superior Court bench: Craig Ambrose of Moorestown, Avion Benjamin of Avenel, Sander Friedman and Mary Ann O’Brien, both of Medford.
