Bollar Installed as President-Elect of Hispanic National Bar Association

Archer & Greiner partner Carlos M. Bollar was installed as the president- elect of the Hispanic National Bar Association on Sept. 28. He was sworn in during a virtual ceremony by Hudson County Superior Court Judge  Lourdes Santiago. Bollar has long been committed to the association, which represents the interests of Hispanic attorneys, judges, law students and other legal professionals in the U.S. Bollar has served in various board positions over the years, and previously served as the HNBA's national finance director and regional president. In 2018, the HNBA honored him with the "Latino Lawyer of the Year" award. Bollar also is past president of the Hispanic Bar Association of New Jersey and serves on the board for the New Jersey State Bar Association. In his practice, Bollar represents clients in complex toxic tort, products liability and environmental litigation matters. He has more than 20 years of experience handling environmental litigation cases. He is a frequent presenter on topics regarding diversity in the legal profession and issues affecting the Hispanic business community, and has received numerous recognitions, including being named the 2017 "Professional Lawyer of the Year" by the New Jersey Commission on Professionalism in the Law and one of the "55 Most Influential Latinos in New Jersey" by the Latino Leadership Alliance of New Jersey, as well as in the Law Journal's 2009 "40 Under 40″ list.
