McCusker Anselmi Names DaSilva Chief Administrative Officer

McCusker, Anselmi Firm Selects DaSilva as Chief Administrative Officer Rosemarie DaSilva

McCusker, Anselmi, Rosen, & Carvelli (MARC) in Florham Park selected Rosemarie (Rose) DaSilva as the chief administrative officer, effective Sept. 1. During her 20 years at the firm, she has handled complex environmental and employment matters. As chief administrative officer, she is responsible for providing firmwide strategic direction and oversight of human resources, marketing, professional development, inclusion and diversity, and recruitment. She serves as a trusted advisor to firm leadership, the firm said. John B. McCusker, firm partner and cofounder, said in a statement that DaSilva "fully understands MARC's culture, is respected by everyone at the firm, and is known to be a true leader with vision for the continued growth of our firm." DaSilva has practiced law as a counsel and partner at the firm since 2002, and has served as a mediator for New Jersey's court system. She previously was general counsel to the Essex County Improvement Authority and was an associate at Day Pitney. She received her J.D. from Rutgers Law School-Camden, where she received the Chief Justice Richard J. Hughes Award, and her B.A. from Rutgers University. DaSilva is a volunteer with the New Jersey Law and Education Empowerment Project (NJ LEEP Inc.), the nonprofit organization based at Seton Hall University School of Law that offers law-related and college-access programming to Newark middle and high school students and guidance to NJ LEEP alumni who are in college. She previously served as a legal coordinator for the Jersey Battered Women's Shelter Legal Advocacy Project, implementing legal training and supervision of more than 90 volunteer attorneys for the pro bono representation of battered women.
