A woman who claimed she suffered a traumatic brain injury when her vehicle was forced into a guardrail by a tractor-trailer changing lanes has settled her case in federal court, Jurkiewicz v. Prishchepov, for $1.8 million.

The settlement concludes the litigation brought by plaintiff Katherine Jurkiewicz, who sued driver Ilya Prishchepov and owner New Prime Inc. in 2017 over her injuries, according to court records, which note that the matter was closed on Oct. 30.
